Storm chances aren't looking quite as good as they did last night, due to a storm system that moved through Iowa this morning and took some of our energy with it. A few scattered storms are still possible through the evening, mainly to the east of Highway 52 it's possible that Rochester misses out on this one. However, there are more rain chances in the next few days! Most of Friday is looking pretty quiet, but showers will return after about 5 pm for towns near and south of I Showers and possibly a few thunderstorms will linger overnight into Saturday where the rain chances continue through the day.
A few isolated showers on Sunday are possible, but most of the day is looking sunny. Due to temperatures and dew points being lower through the next few days, we're not looking at a severe potential with any storms that roll through. Temperatures will stick to the low 80s through much of next week with mainly quiet and sunny conditions. Unmute Play. More Stories. February 1, am.
